Absolut Care of Aurora Park is a 320 bed healthcare facility located in the heart of East

improvements and renovations completed in May of this year along with our caring staff make Aurora Park a wonderful
choice for anyone in need of rehab services, respite, long-term or secured dementia care. June 2006 was the first full month of service in the upgraded subacute rehabilitation wing at Aurora Park. Subacute and Rehabilitation care takes on many different forms at Aurora Park. These include Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy. In addition we also offer Stroke Rehabilitation and IV Therapy to those patients requiring such services. Another unique offering at Aurora Park is a Driving Simulator. We are able to test a patient’s ability to get back behind the wheel of a car. Then provide loved ones and physician with a report to help make the decision if the patient should be operating a vehicle. Some of the special touches that the rehabilitation wing offers are flat screens televisions in every room, chef prepared restaurant style dining room, hotel like rooms, computer access and an enclosed courtyard. Aurora Park also offers long-term skilled nursing care for over 270 residents at its Main Street East Aurora location. The dedicated and caring staff offers your loved one personal attention and the latest in healthcare techniques. Our team of medical professionals includes registered nurses on site 24 hours a day, as well as doctors and a nurse practitioner on call 24 hours a day. Healthcare with hospitality has made Aurora Park the choice for long-term care for many years. Two other unique offerings at Aurora Park are VactionCARE and Specialized Dementia Unit. VactionCARE gives an individual with the responsibility of caring for a loved one a chance to get a much needed break. The specialized dementia unit, The Vintage Cove, at Aurora Park, is a second to none program for Alzheimer’s or other memory or dementia diagnosed patients designed in cooperation with the Alzheimer’s Association. Absolut Care of Aurora Park also has several large activities rooms, quiet chapels, hairdressers and private and semi private rooms available. There are also several enclosed courtyards and privacy rooms available for family meetings or gatherings.
