Absolut Care of Allegany is a small, quaint home of 37 beds located in the town of
Allegany. We pride ourselves in our family atmosphere and caring staff. Absolut Care of Allegany specializes in
short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Our therapists (physical, occupational and speech)
have years of experience between them to provide a knowledge based program for you and your needs. We are located next to a school where the residents enjoy watching children play in the school yard and watching the school buses come and go. The community is a very quiet village, although we are located near St. Bonaventure's University where students come and volunteer their time and energy. Our dedicated and committed staff prides itself on providing the best possible care for our residents, strive to maintain their comfort, dignity and provide companionship to those who may have no one else or may be in need of that extra special attention. We live by the motto we have adopted "let our family take care of yours". We have many physicians attending at this facility so it is not unusual for your family practitioner to be your attending physician here. If you do not have a physician attending to your loved one at this time, we have many to chose from and will allow you your choice of many. Absolut Care of Allegany has private and semi-private rooms available for you to come and tour. We are sure we have one that will fill your special needs. We have televisions in rooms and there is no additional charge for cable as that is provided for you. Phone service is available for you or your loved one or you may chose to have your own private phone that is available through the phone company with the bill charged directly to you. Come and join our "Lunch Bunch" who meet for lunch daily and socialize, discussing the days events. This is coordinated through Activities and Therapies to maximize your stay here. We offer therapy six days a week, which increases the likelihood your stay here will be spent working on your quick discharge. Our therapists work together to assure the plan of care is coordinated to assure maximum therapeutic coverage. We form a strong team, with you and your family being at the center of the team to create a plan of rehabilitation designed for you alone. |
