Arbor Park Health Care Center, Inc., dba Absolut Care of Eden is a one story 40 bed
facility nestled in a pleasant, quaint neighborhood in the Town of Eden. Located just minutes south of Buffalo
in the quiet village of Eden, New York, well known for its Summer Corn festival and rich surrounding farmland.
Absolut Care of Eden offers its residents quality care, safety, companionship, and comfort. Absolut Care of Eden specializes in short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Our facility is located just 30 minutes south of Buffalo in a rural, "home-like" setting. We have served the Eden, N. Collins, Hamburg, and Southern Erie County area for over 40 years! Absolut Care of Eden was built in 1966 as a skilled nursing facility, and is located on a residential street just off Route 62. We are one of Western NY's best kept secrets in post hospital short term rehab and residential care. You will see children passing on their way to and from school, people taking dogs for walks, squirrels playing around the building itself, bird feeders at windows and more - all giving a setting of belonging to the neighborhood. As you enter the facility's main lobby, you have a warm, welcoming and comforting atmosphere. Our dedicated and committed staff prides itself on providing the best possible care for our residents, strive to maintain their comfort, dignity and provide companionship to those who may have no one else or may be in need of that extra special attention. Residents' privacy, special needs, dignity, freedom of choice and lifestyle is the basis for each individualized plan of care. Our entire team feel that once someone comes through the door, they are "family" and are treated as such by the many professionals on staff. The team includes a Director of Nursing, Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, social workers, dieticians, as well as activities, food service, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and administrative personnel. Residents entering Absolut Care of Eden benefit from having our Medical Director, James Collins, M.D., who will oversee their medical needs while they are at our facility. Absolut Care of Eden has private rooms called "short term to home" and semi-private accommodations. These "suites" are available and have a private bathroom where television and phone service is provided. Recent changes in the dining room service have given it a very elegant "restaurant style" atmosphere. Our experienced therapists have been with us for many years and provide geriatric therapy along with the psychological understanding that is needed to work with those of any age who are in need of rehabilitation. Absolut Care of Eden is unique in that it offers therapies six days a week. Our Therapy team pride themselves on their ability to obtain the goals of our residents and to return people back to the comfort of their home. Absolut Care of Eden also has a large and bright dining room / activities room, a beauty shop area, a "privacy room" for families to use for special occasions with residents, and covered outdoor patio, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Accepting most insurance, including long term care insurance policies and private pay. Assistance in applying for Medicaid, if needed.
