Absolut Care of Three Rivers is a single story 120-bed facility located in a quiet
residential neighborhood in the village of Painted Post. The facility is conveniently located just a few miles
from the City of Corning and Corning Hospital. Absolut Care of Three Rivers specializes in short-term rehabilitation
and long term skilled nursing care. Specialized therapy programs are available to those requiring Physical,
Occupational, and Speech therapies on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Absolut Care of Three was built in 1982 as a skilled nursing facility as part of the Three Rivers Development Corporation out of need in the area for skilled nursing care. Being located in a residential area, it is not unusual to see children passing on their way to and from school, people taking dogs for walks, squirrels playing around the building itself, bird feeders at windows and more - all giving a setting of belonging to the neighborhood. As you enter the facility's main lobby, you have the feeling of walking into someone's front room. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and comforting. Our dedicated and committed staff prides itself on providing the best possible care for our residents, strive to maintain their comfort, dignity and provide companionship to those who may have no one else or may be in need of that extra special attention. Residents' privacy, special needs, dignity, freedom of choice and lifestyle is the basis for each individualized plan of care. Residents entering Absolut Care of Three Rivers have a choice of over fifteen local physicians to follow them from the local area. If they do not have a local physician, our medical Director will oversee their medical needs while they are at our facility. Absolut Care of Three Rivers has a large number of private rooms and can most often fulfill your request for these accommodations. Extensive renovations have recently been made throughout the building. Recent changes in the dining room have given it a very elegant restaurant style atmosphere. Our experienced therapists have provided rehabilitation to home for hundreds of people from our community. They provide geriatric therapy along with the psychological understanding that is needed to work with those of any age who are in need of rehabilitation. Therapy staff prides themselves on their ability to obtain the goals of our residents and to return people back to the comfort of home. Our entire staff feel that once someone comes through the door, they are "family" and are treated as such by the many professionals on staff. Absolut Care of Three Rivers also has a large and bright activities room, a quiet chapel, a beauty shop area, a "privacy room" for families to use for special occasions with residents, and enclosed interior courtyard with a gazebo, a front porch area and beautifully landscaped grounds. |
