Absolut Care of Salamanca is a two story 120 bed facility nestled in the Seneca Nation
village of Salamanca by Allegany State Park. Absolut Care of Salamanca offers short-term rehabilitation and long term
skilled nursing care. Absolut Care of Salamanca was built in 1975 and opened its' doors to our first resident in March of 1976. Since this time Absolut Care of Salamanca has provided a great need of long term care to the community, as well as, being an active member of the community. Our dedicated and committed staff prides itself on providing the best possible care for our residents, strive to maintain their comfort, dignity and provide companionship to those who may have no one else or may be in need of that extra special attention. Resident's privacy, special needs, dignity, freedom of choice and lifestyle is the basis for each individual plan of care. We are a family at Absolut Care of Salamanca and our residents become a part of that family. Residents have a choice of a private or semi-private room for their long term stay. And our rehab to home private rooms is just what the Dr. ordered when it comes to going home. The rehabilitation staff is dedicated to optimizing each resident's level of independence and strive to discharge them to home. They provide rehab 6 days a week, are knowledgeable of geriatric therapy and provide each resident with the incentive to be independent. |
